This is an amazing place to enjoy the start of your day! I went their to take tmy blood test after a 14-hr fasting process. I felt a little bit faint after taking the blood sample and finding Bonnie's Bread Bakery was like being in the heaven!

I had a Beef Courtney Pastry and a Cheese Onion Bread in the court and the taste was fantastic. The cheese Bread is crispy outside and fluffy as well as flavourful inside. The onion  inside is fresh and well seasoned and the Beef Pastry was stuffed with chunks of meats and vegetables. It absolutely made my day!

Apparently, this is a Chinese fusion Bakery where authentic bread loaf is also offered. You never want to miss the smell of wheat aroming in the air when the first batch just came out of the oven at 8:00 in the morning.

Last thing is, they also offer discounts on day-before items and they also taste great! I took a pineapple bun and a ham egg sandwich for lunch for less than $2.00 and felt pretty full after meal.

This place is gonna be the spot I will definitely drop by before work on a frequent basis (If not every day) ^_^.

This a bakery located at Champlain Sqare that's located right across from Independent Grocer. They have a large variety of breads, cakes, pastries, and various other baked goods, all very reasonably priced. I had their Boston Cream Cake, Raspberry Cheesecake Slice, Chocolate Mousse Cake, Long John, Beef Sausage Roll, and Ham & Cheese Croissant. The food was quite good; I particularly enjoyed their mousse cake and ham & cheese croissant. This is a bakery that I'd recommend checking out.

    Boston Cream Cake ($1.65):
    3.5/5
The cake was quite soft, tender and moist. I enjoyed the chocolate glaze on top that provided a nice bittersweet flavour. I do wish that there can be more of the custard filling.

    Raspberry Cheesecake Slice ($1.95):
    3/5
The cake was quite light and soft. I did find it to be slightly bland on its own. The raspberry swirl provided some sweetness, although I do wish it would be a bit more tart.

    Chocolate Mousse Cake ($3.65):
    4/5
The cake was very soft and moist. The mousses were smooth and light, and had a really nice flavour, while the layer of chocolate on top melted in my mouth and wasn't at all waxy.

    Long John ($1.65):
    3.5/5
The donut was quite light and fluffy, with a slightly chewy texture. The chocolate glaze was not waxy and had a nice bittersweet chocolate flavour.

    Beef Sausage Roll ($2.35):
    3.5/5
The crust outside was relatively flaky with a nice flavour. I quite enjoyed the sausage inside, which was tender and savoury.

    Ham and Cheese Croissant ($2.35):
    3.5/5
The croissant itself was quite buttery. The cheese provided a great bit of richness while the ham provided a nice flavour.

    Summary:
    Food: 3.5/5
    Price: 4.5/5
    Service: N/A
    Overall: 4/5
Recommendations: Chocolate Mousse Cake, Ham and Cheese Croissant

I've walked past this place many times during my trips to Extra Foods but never actually bought anything here. Today I tried their blueberry scone and although it was tasty, it was a lot more akin to a buttermilk biscuit than a scone...actually it might as well have been a buttermilk biscuit featuring a hint of blueberry haha.
They do have a pretty good assortment of baked goods up for grabs at a reasonable price though!
